Alex Kalinkos

Alex was a competitive runner in college, and when he wasn’t running, he was in the gym lifting weights and training hard, using all the best training methods available. So it came as quite a shock to him when a Revolution in Motion exercise with 2 Ω pound weight brought him to his knees. That is when he knew he could never go back.

Alex graduated with a BA from SUNY Cortland where he studied kinesiology. This gave him an understanding of biomechanics, anatomy, and neuroscience, all of which are integral to Revolution in Motion’s ability to deliver rapid, transformative results.

Alex helped Edythe train the cast of the Broadway production of Spiderman and was there when she opened the first studio in New York.

With his strong understanding of the body and intuitive approach, Alex helps clients quickly overcome long-standing issues, achieve fluid pain-free movement and reach a whole new level of fitness.

After getting a BA in psychology from Loyola University, Johnny studied neuroscience and the aging brain at the Taub Institute at Columbia Medical Center. Johnny was initially attracted to Edythe’s innovative work because of her focus on the neuro-muscular system and her belief that older clients should not accept the seemingly inevitable decline of function.

By enhancing the neuro-muscular connection, improving coordination and releasing old injuries, Johnny has seen Revolution in Motion allow his clients to do things that were previously beyond their reach. His intelligent and insightful training has allowed all levels from beginners to elite athletes to enjoy the transformative effects of Revolution in Motion.

As a martial artist and soccer player, Revolution in Motion’s emphasis on training the feet and the pelvic floor has given Johnny increased power, speed and balance. He uses this training to continue to improve his performance and correct any imbalances caused by the specific requirements of the sport.
